DAAD scholarship opportunities for 2026/2027: information meeting in Wrocław

The Institute of International Studies at the University of Wrocław invites researchers, PhD candidates and Master’s students to a presentation on DAAD scholarship opportunities for the 2026/2027 academic year.

The meeting will take place on:

The session will be led by Johann Görzen, DAAD Representative and Lecturer at the University of Wrocław, who will present the funding options available to students and academics interested in studying, researching or developing their careers in Germany.

Johann Görzen has been the DAAD Representative and Lecturer at the University of Wrocław’s German Philology since 2025. He previously held the same role at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (2017–2022) and worked as a DAAD assistant teacher in Wrocław (2015–2017). His professional experience also includes heading the Kazakhstan-Brandenburg internship programme at APOLLO e. V. in Berlin and serving as a press and communications expert at the Berlin Senate Commissioner for Participation, Integration and Migration.

The meeting is a good opportunity to learn about the available scholarship schemes and to ask questions directly to an expert in the field.
